DESCRIPTION:Hey Team! \nBelow is a recap of the questions/answers and the rules we discussed. Please feel free to email me along the way as more questions pop up. I can keep a running list and we can look at hosting another zoom the week before the tournament. \nI was a member for the 1st tournament Acworth hosted in 2018 and came to watch the event and a staff member for the 2019 tournament. Y’all…this is SO FUN!!! It’s such a community-building event-  members cheering on members\, judges cheering on members\, members doing more than they thought they were capable of…I can’t WAIT for this event! \nDate: October 8th \nTime: 10:30am \nLocation: Acworth Studio \n·        A team is 2 participants\, it’s a partner tournament. \n·        4 teams max from each studio. 2 co-ed and 2 female. Not 3 and 1\, not all 4 co-ed. Max of 2 of each. Co-ed teams will compete against each other\, all female teams will compete against each other. \n·        Participants must be active members with a membership. Class packs do not count. No “double rostering”\, participants can only be on 1 team. \n·        Staff members may not participate. \n·        Participants must represent their home studio. \n·        Tournament registration will open on September 1 and close on October 2. Studios are welcome to have “alternate” participants on a waiting list if for some reason you have a team that cancels/backs out last minute. Alternates can slide into a spot up until the day of the event\, but not once the tournament begins. \n·        Judges will be trainers represented from all studios\, the final round of the tournament the judges will be the corporate leadership team. We won’t know yet how many judges will be needed until we have a final count of teams. But\, please start asking your trainers to be ready to jump in and assist with judging as we would love to have each studio represented on the judge’s panel. \n·        Prize- $500 cash given to the winning team (2 cash prizes\, one for co-ed and one for all female)\, trophy metals for the Top 3 teams\, and of course Twisted bragging rights! \nLink to register your participants: https://twisted-cycle.com/tournamentregister/ \nPlease let me know if you have questions\, have a great afternoon!
